The CAMARGUE is a beautiful and exceptional nature reserve in France and it is possible to see in this reserve free horses, pink flamingos and a very prolific nature.

In this very special place in France and Europe, a completely wild nature lives alongside a human presence installed in special farms called «Mas», where horses live in semi-freedom in harmony with people called «Gardians» while running all over the Camargue sometimes with bulls in groups called «manades»

This nature reserve is one of the most important bird reserves in the world. The climate change can be seen in this nature reserve in the fact that some birds arrive from other parts of Europe like ibis or storks which is new for this region.

ARLES is considered as the administrative capital of the CAMARGUE where the famous painter : Vincent van Gogh painted « Terrasse de café sur la place du Forum » in September 1888.

There are still very impressive arenes of the Roman era in ARLES that you can visit.
